Risk Pilot participated at the Nuclear Power Program Poland event i Warsaw May 19-20. Risk Pilots R&D Manager Stefan Authen was invited as one of the experts in a panel discussion on Nuclear Safety together with other distinguished guests such as Swedens National Nuclear Power Coordinator Mr Carl Berglöf and Professor Waclaw Gudowski, KTH.

Arranged by Business Sweden, the event brought together all major stakeholders for nuclear energy in Poland with Swedish suppliers with the purpose to establish knowledge transfer, cooperation and business opportunities.

Although there are plenty of challenges still for nuclear energy in Poland, they have created an impressive momentum in the industry and are intent to push forward and to have their first reactor in operation by 2036. Sweden would do very well to follow the ”Polish model”.
