In the beginning of May, Sara Lind participated in a student organised learning lab in Montreal, Canada. The purpose of the learning lab was to discuss the upcoming thesis and research that will take place in the second half of 2025 as part of the Human Factors & System Safety masters programme. Each student is now preparing a thesis proposal that will be sent to the examiner for approval and the learning lab provided a good opportunity for deep discussions, reflections and feedback. Sara’s thesis aims at examining what meanings the Swedish nuclear industry has created out of the safety culture construct since the Chernobyl accident in 1986. On her way back from Canada, Sara took a detour through New York and got the chance to experience baseball at Citi Field, Mets vs. Pirates.

At Risk Pilot, we are glad to support this contribution to research and science , all in line with our Research & Development strategy.
